Description
A procession of half-emerging faces drifts across two bands of atmosphere—one steeped in acidic yellow, the other in cold grayscale—turning portraiture into a meditation on how identity flickers between presence and erasure. The soft, airbrushed dissolves and overlapping profiles create a restless rhythm of gazes, as if each figure is both witness and apparition, caught in a collective, unfinished thought. Threaded through the visages, diagrammatic marks and stray notations read like the private machinery of memory, suggesting that what we call a “self” is continually annotated, revised, and blurred by time and proximity. The work holds a quiet tension between intimacy and anonymity, inviting the viewer to search for singular emotion inside a crowd that behaves like a single, shifting psyche.
