Eternal Union Mixed-Media Religious Painting

This work suspends an intimate couple in a molten field of ochres and embered reds, where layered textures and splintered marks feel like memory itself—scorched, rewritten, and insisted upon. Their faces meet in a hush of near-silhouette, while the surrounding abrasions and iridescent flecks turn tenderness into something hard-won, as if love must be excavated from noise. The faint, looming feline presence beneath them reads as both guardian and latent threat, suggesting that desire is never free of instinct, vigilance, or the shadow of consequence. Light is not painted so much as unearthed—glimmering through the surface like a private radiance surviving a turbulent world.
