Description
The work stages a quiet drama of threshold and concealment: a weathered, turquoise door—its grain rendered like a topography of memory—presses against a narrow aperture that opens into a dim, receding interior. A restrained palette of rust, slate, and bruise-blue is punctured by a small red mark above the lintel, a talismanic flare that reads as warning, blessing, or lingering trace of presence. Textural density—scored walls, embedded objects, and a twisting vine-like element—turns the façade into an archaeology of touch, where time accumulates as matter. What lies beyond the door is less a room than a psychological corridor, inviting the viewer to linger in the tension between refuge and exposure, secrecy and illumination.
