Description
Rendered in stark black and white, the animal form becomes a vessel for interior worlds—its body carved into a dense tapestry of leaflike striations and floral bursts that feel both protective and restless. The crisp negative space gives the creature a suspended, emblematic presence, while the single, lucid eye anchors the composition with a quiet vigilance that reads as consciousness rather than mere depiction. Above, the small, separate vignette of architectural geometry introduces a distant human order, suggesting a tension between instinctive nature and constructed habitat, memory and enclosure. The work ultimately stages metamorphosis: a living silhouette whose surface patterning turns fur into landscape, and anatomy into myth.
