This work stages a tender village cosmology in which everyday labor, courtship, and ritual cohere into a single breathing pattern. At its heart, two embossed golden figures animate the otherwise flat pictorial field, their metallic relief reading like memory made permanent—an icon held within a humble, hand-drawn universe of huts, carts, and processions. The black-and-white ornamentation—leafy fronds, looping borders, and a canopy of geometric marks—creates a protective rhythm around the central scene, suggesting community as both shelter and choreography.
