This work stages a ritual of belonging: two elongated, folk-rendered figures meet within a luminous inner frame, their gestures reading as both invitation and oath, as if kinship is being negotiated in a sanctified threshold. Around them, a teeming perimeter of animals, curling vines, and hovering vessels forms a protective cosmology—nature, sustenance, and myth braided into a single breathing border. The cool blue ground amplifies the earthen browns and golds, letting the central tableau glow like an icon while the surrounding motifs pulse with communal memory and cyclical time.
