Description
Set against a field of honeyed light, the composition stages an uneasy communion between the human body and the architecture of the hive: a kneeling, headless figure turns inward while a serpentine, membrane-like form pours itself down in a slow, viscous cascade. The repeating hexagons create a measured, almost devotional order, yet the drifting bees introduce restless motion—industry and instinct skimming across the scene like living punctuation. By withholding faces and replacing identity with texture, the work reads as a meditation on desire and consumption, where sweetness becomes both offering and entrapment, and the self risks dissolving into the collective.
