Description
In a shallow, amphitheater-like basin, a procession of severed heads rises from stacked, collar-like pedestals, their closed eyes and tilted chins reading as both ritual repose and quiet surrender. The composition curves inward like a containment field, while the bruised violets and charcoal textures above press down with an industrial, watchtower presence, turning the space into a controlled chamber rather than a sanctuary. A warm, ember-lit glow from below softens the faces into icons, suggesting an unsettling tenderness—individuality held on display, preserved, and gently erased at once. The work stages a meditation on surveillance and conformity, where human identity becomes collectible, curated, and ultimately interchangeable under the weight of manufactured order.
