Description
This nocturnal vision renders a forest after its undoing, where severed trunks rise like mute witnesses and their concentric rings become faint topographies of memory. Scratched light against an enveloping blackness models bark, scar, and soil with tactile insistence, turning absence into the primary subject and making the eye read devastation as texture. The low horizon and drifting, ash-like clouds compress the space into a suffocating theater, suggesting a cycle in which extraction and regrowth are locked in uneasy suspension. What remains is not simply a landscape, but a moral silhouette—nature’s body mapped by loss, yet still insisting on form.
