Description
This portrait dissolves the certainty of identity into a sequence of tremulous echoes, as if the sitter is being re-seen repeatedly through a faulty memory or an overloaded lens. Warm ochres pool at the face like sedimented time, while the pale, clinical ground refuses context, turning the figure into a specimen of perception rather than a person. The stacked, ghosted contours generate a quiet agitation—movement without motion—suggesting the psychological blur between presence and absence. What emerges is less a likeness than an inquiry: how the self fractures when filtered through observation, digital mediation, and the instability of recollection.
