Surreal Interior, Political Allegory, Militarism, Dreamlike Narrative, Mixed-Media Drawing, Surveillance Motifs, Muted Palette

This staged interior reads like a fragile theater of power, where the domestic—bathtub, tiled floor, curtain—becomes a permeable membrane through which war and spectacle intrude. A crowned figure reclines in indulgent reverie while an attendant tends to them, yet the space is threaded with ominous apparatus: surveillance-like devices, drifting smoke, and an astronaut suspended in a bruised sky ceiling, turning the room into a psychological box. The palette’s washed creams and blues carry a deceptive calm, punctured by rusted oranges and sooty blacks that suggest contamination, as if sovereignty and intimacy are both maintained by distant violence. The composition’s skewed perspectives and floating vignettes propose a narrative of control unraveling—myth, technology, and militarism collapsing into a single, uneasy dream.
