This work stages a fragile figure within a field of incandescent red, where the body’s pale, chalky passages feel both revealed and eroded, as if memory has rubbed the flesh down to a soft residue. Overlapping arcs and veiled charcoal masses press in like intrusive thoughts, turning space into a psychological chamber in which protection and exposure coexist. The thin, calligraphic markings read as private inscriptions—traces of experience—while the stark chromatic conflict between red and gray sets a pulse of urgency against a hush of introspection. What emerges is a portrait not of a person alone, but of the tenuous architecture of selfhood under pressure.
