Description
A vast, vibrating field of tessellated marks becomes a metaphor for the city as lived experience—an ocean of voices compressed into pattern, where individuality flickers and dissolves into collective rhythm. Two elevated bands of figures cut across the surface like bridges of witness, their simplified faces and saturated garments asserting human presence against the almost infinite accumulation below. The warm, insistent reds and oranges press the space forward, while clustered, dotted tree-forms punctuate the density as brief pauses—small sanctuaries of breath amid civic intensity. In this choreography of repetition and interruption, the work reads as both celebration and caution: community as luminosity, and community as overwhelming weight.
