Mixed-Media Collage, Abstract Grid, Black-And-White, Ornamental Patterns, Gold Accents, Palimpsest, Memory Fragments
Description

This work assembles a fractured tapestry of ornamental motifs, newsprint, and scraped paint into a single, breathless architecture of memory—where every square feels like a room sealed off and yet porous to the next. Against the velvety black ground, chalky whites and bruised grays flare like worn plaster, while restrained flashes of ochre and gold read as surviving gilding—traces of ceremony in an otherwise eroded, urban palimpsest. The intermittent figurative hints and decorative arabesques behave like half-recalled stories, suggesting how identity is built from fragments: patterned, repeated, and constantly overwritten. Its visual rhythm—alternating grids, lace-like filigree, and rough gestural fields—turns collage into a meditation on what we preserve, what we censor, and what stubbornly resurfaces.
