Description
This paired composition stages a quiet dialogue between certainty and hesitation: an hourglass-like convergence of red and white stripes on the left compresses time into a taut, optical hinge, while the right panel loosens that tension into a suspended red field that feels both provisional and bodily. The disciplined geometry is continually softened by the hand—bleeds, slight misregistrations, and tonal bruises that turn hard-edged pattern into something breathed and fallible. In both, the stripes behave like currents, pulling the eye inward and outward at once, suggesting that structure is never purely mechanical but always haunted by touch and duration.
