This work stages a contemplative theater of foliage, where meticulously rendered monochrome leaves form a vaulted perimeter that both shelters and encloses the eye, opening onto a luminous void like a clearing in memory. Against this graphite-like hush, the small, jeweled birds punctuate the space as fleeting assertions of life and possibility—color becoming a kind of breath within an otherwise suspended world. The curving fronds arc inward like protective hands, yet their density also suggests the beautiful pressure of nature’s abundance, holding the viewer at the threshold between immersion and escape. In that tension, the piece reads as an allegory of attention itself: how silence can magnify the slightest song, and how fragility can become the brightest presence.
