Description
This sculptural form stages a quiet dialogue between two opposing profiles, their verdant planes held apart by a narrow, charged void that reads as both separation and invitation. The circular aperture suspended at the center becomes a calibrated point of breath—an eye, a portal, a hinge—through which the surrounding negative space acquires as much weight as the material itself. Its deep green patina suggests growth and renewal, yet the severe symmetry and blade-like edges temper that vitality with restraint, as if intimacy here is engineered rather than sentimental. In this balance of mass and absence, the work meditates on the threshold where identity meets its mirror and becomes newly defined.
