Description
This sculptural composition stages a quiet collision between perfect geometry and the bruised poetry of time: two oxidized discs—scarred like eclipsed planets—are tethered by a taut diagonal beam that reads as both axis and rupture. The warm rust patina behaves like a weathered skin, catching light in soft, granular blooms that turn industrial matter into something intimately human, as if memory has corroded into form. Negative space is not merely left over but actively carved—arcs and notches create a suspended dialogue of absence and presence, suggesting a fragile equilibrium between rotation, restraint, and release. In its balance of circles, cuts, and load-bearing lines, the work becomes a meditation on forces we cannot see—gravity, history, and the intimate violence of change.
