This work is driven by a dominant field of incandescent red that feels less like a color choice than an atmosphere—heat, urgency, and a kind of internal weather pressing forward. Beneath that blaze, bruised blacks and slate blues accumulate in a low band, where scraped textures and soot-like stains suggest a horizon of memory: a city dissolving, a landscape scorched, or a psyche rebuilding itself after impact. Flecks of gold and sudden cobalt interrupts act like brief signals in the haze, implying persistence and encoded routes through chaos, while the layered surfaces insist on time—paint laid down, lifted, and returned as if the image had to be wrested into being.
