This graphite architectural study turns an ordinary passageway into a quiet theatre of thresholds, where the arched corridor pulls the eye inward even as the stairway lifts it toward an unseen interior. The disciplined hatchwork—cool, vertical atmospherics against the measured horizontals of steps and bricks—creates a palpable hush, letting light behave like a slow tide that reveals and conceals. Flowering pots punctuate the severe geometry with small acts of tenderness, suggesting habitation without ever showing a figure, as if memory itself were the resident. In this poised emptiness, the work meditates on transit and return: a place defined less by destination than by the contemplative act of moving through it.
