Vinod Prakash, is a self- driven Artist following his passion in his eighties, painting to him is an expression of inner self.

His paintings are drawn from his own experiences as well as inspiration from old masters and a few new generation artists. His paintings are an expression of enormous, timeless everchanging beauty of nature presented in a simple format using soft hues as well as bright and vibrant colours. The medium used is Oil on Canvas sizes varying from 6 x 6 inch to 30 x 40 inch.

The painting technique and style has evolved over the years and he has developed a process of applying several layers of paint through squeegee and scraping. Selection of colours lights and shades and layering give these paintings a depth and sense of mystique.

His paintings are unique patterns of changing colours giving vivid expressions layer by layer that challenge imagination and evokes mysticism. His paintings are nonfigurative and non-objective inviting the viewer to explore, immerse and create a dialogue with self.
