Goutam Das
Date of birth: 15th January 1976 Goutam Das is a self-taught artist who hails from Kolkata, the city of enduring charms. He is the son of Late Anil Das, another well-known artist. Goutam Das is a passionate artist and paints everything which seems interesting to him in his own rough, abstract style of painting. His art displays a fusion of colors which have some resemblance to the colors of realistic nature but the way he put his thoughts on canvas is wild and chaotic. His fascination for art made him start his own institution Bauria Arpitam Kala Mandir where he communicates and demonstrates his students the art of drawing and painting.
