10 Fun & Creative Easter egg decoration ideas
It's that time of the year again, with Easter bunnies hopping around the corner and lovely eggs waiting to be painted, here are some creative ideas on painting your Easter eggs!
The quintessential Easter egg never goes out of style, just dip your hardboiled eggs in food coloring, preferably paste shades, then using a toothbrush add contrasting highlights by flicking the teeth of the brush.
2. Glitter and gloss
If blinged out is more your style, all you need is some glue and extra fine glitter. Apply a coat of glue on the plastic or wooden egg and then dust the egg with the glitter of your choice to create these sparkling beauties.
3. Do the bunny hop
Easter bunny eggs make for adorable decorations and are so easy to make. For a bunny egg cut out the ears and feet using with felt or card paper works just fine, add a pink pom pom for the nose and use a marker to draw the eyes and whiskers. And you've got yourself and adorable little Easter egg bunny!
4. Bite into a marbled egg
These gorgeous marbled eggs are made using a hardboiled egg, once the egg has cooled down gently tap the eggs to crack the shell [not too hard you wants small cracks all over the egg].Then dip the eggs in food coloring and let them dry. Once they've dried pull off the shell and you have a lovely marble finish!
5. Minion Lovers
Drip half an egg in yellow food coloring, once dry dip the other half in blue coloring. Stick on a couple of eyes and ink out the lips and spectacle straps with a marker and you've got a cute egg minion!!

Go vintage this year, by dipping the eggs in pastel food coloring shades and then paint some polka dots on the eggs. Easy breezy!

You can use glow paint preferably on a wooden or plastic egg to create delightfully psychedelic eggs, remember to paint the eggs white with a base layer before using glow paints, this helps the colors pop.

Chalkboard eggs are perfect if you want to write or decorate your eggs with changeable designs or messages. All you need is some chalkboard paint and chalk. Paint the eggs with chalkboard paint and get creative!
