ABOUT ARTIST KAVITA SHAH
Kavita Shah is a visual artist, educationist, Co-founder member of Chhaap Foundation for Printmaking Trust and a Board Member of Res Artis.
She has taught in Fine Arts, College of Architecture and many institutes in India.
she has received many awards and participated in National exhibition, Triennial-India and Bharat Bhavan Print biennial. She had nine solo shows in India and abroad.
She has given Illustrative talk in MPCVA, NGMA Mumbai and Impact 5, Tallinn Estonia.
Kavita was artist- in- residence in Finland and Italy, worked in Atelier in Paris,PMW with Robert Blackburn, USA
She has compiled international print portfolios called Footprints, Ganjifa, Snakes and Ladders and Chess. Footprint was shown in Southern Graphic Council, Kansas, and Ganjifa was shown at Impact 6, UWE, Bristol, UK
She was ATSA follow 2014-15, curator for China Art Academi print Biennial and for Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.
